Our tree has bloomed into a full blown beer garden!

Hey, Reader!

I cannot believe that we haven't talked since the beginning of summer. Completely our faults. But we have big news! And that big news is the entire reason why we haven't chatted.

Still, we do apologize for not being seen in your inbox more often, but really, you all should just show up in person, and then we won't have to show up in your inbox.

Show up where?

Two places, really!

And while these two places are numbered, there really is no particular order to visit, just visit. They both deserve your attention.

1) Buena Vista, Colorado

If you've been following along with us on social media, you know we've been up to something! We started with the simple and very elusive "We bought a tree!" Well, that tree has finally blossomed into an entire beer garden!

Welcome to Strange Craft BV and the BV Backyard in Buena Vista, Colorado! Ken and I partnered with our friends and owners of Strange Craft Beer Company in Denver to bring a satellite taproom to the small (3,000 people) Colorado mountain town of Buena Vista, along with a space for our outdoor kitchen partners: The Olive and Low Tide.

It took a while to get through all the legalities and fun stuff to open up, but open we finally did. We served our first paid customer this weekend!

We're thrilled to be a part of the BV community, and we can't wait to celebrate with all of you whenever you find your way to this glorious mountain town full of adventure.

Grand opening party coming your way soon! Follow us on social media, so you don't miss out:

When you visit, be sure to mention that you're a Stout Life subscriber, and we'll give you a $1.00 off your first beer!

2) Cascade, Idaho

No, we didn't buy a tree in Cascade, too. But we are hosting Camp Carpe Diem this fall in Idaho.

Our basecamp is in Cascade, but we'll be all over this beautiful valley, including the quaint mountain towns of Donnelly and McCall.

Fall colors, pristine lakes, stunning views, hiking, biking, and photo excursions, craft beer (duh!), and of course the community we all love.

If you have yet to experience Camp Carpe Diem (lovingly called CCD by our campers), you're missing out on an adventure of a lifetime.

Join us in Idaho September 11-14. And for this week only, until Thursday at midnight (Eastern), we brought back Early Bird pricing.

You will love this weekend of fun and friends. From Sept. 11 - 14, you can stop adulting and just enjoy. And since Alpine Lodge and RV is our basecamp, you don't even HAVE to bring an RV. Stay at the Lodge!

Planned activities include campfires, hikes, community meals, mountain biking, brewery visits, and more! Plus the area has even more to enjoy including lakes and hot springs. Come for the weekend or stay longer, but make this the year you come to Camp Carpe Diem!

And since you're a dedicated Stout Life friend, use code STOUTFRENZ20 for and additional $20 off the already low early bird price.

What are you waiting for? Start planning your trips to Idaho and Colorado today! We can't wait to see you!

Cheers, Salud, Prost! ๐Ÿป

Why not spread the love to you, too? Thank you for supporting the people and companies that we...

Hey, Reader! Welcome to Spring! We're in the Colorado mountains, where spring means snow meets birds meets sunshine meets wind, all within one hour! Whatever weather you're dealing with this spring, we hope you are safe. Not only safe but thriving. Which, with the climate (both weather and politics) today, thriving might be pushing it.
